Kiwi Koru Silver Pendant – Tahi Jewelry
A Bird Necklace with a Twist
Tahi Jewelry’s distinctive designs blend traditional tribal elements to create modern jewelry that’s as unique as you are. This striking silver pendant is based on a Koru design.
A sign of peace, the Koru is one of the most important and most recognizable symbols in New Zealand. Based on an unfurling fern frond or breaking wave, the koru represents new beginnings, new life, growth, strength and peace. While the basic koru is a common symbol, each artist puts their own twist on the design. This Koru is called Kiwi because it resembles a curled up, stylized kiwi bird, with the hole for the necklace being the bird’s eye.
This stunning silver pendant is elegant and understated to be worn every day, yet is certainly special enough for those special occasions. A Koru necklace is an essential accessory.
Dimension: The Kiwi Pendant measures 49mm in width and is 27mm high. The leather cord is 335mm long; the silver chain is 240mm long.
Please select whether you would like a leather cord or a silver chain from the drop down menu below. There is an extra charge for the silver chain, as noted below.
